Textile Waste from Woollen Yarn Production as Raw Materials for Thermal Insulation Products

Abstract In the current research, waste from woollen yarn production was analysed. Woollen as raw material used for of soft thermal insulation mats. Two types mats were produced in a textile plant: thermally untreated and treated. Properties such fibre composition, structure, conductivity treated studied. During composition analysis waste, quantity long, medium length, short fibres determined. The content fats, salts, other organic synthetic impurities investigated. micro macrostructures contact zones between binding dependences on density composites obtained.
